Agadir is most famous for its glorious beach, which is a tourist magnet all year round. There are plenty of restaurants, entertainment facilities & installations to keep the beachfront buzzing with activity.
More recently, it has become a popular golf destination due to the beautiful courses here. You can head out to the golf courses in Agadir for the whole day; spend the day at the beaches and strolling through its bazaars & souks. There is a good measure of exciting nightlife as well in Agadir with belly dancing and Berber drum shows; as well as loads of restaurants and bars to keep you entertained come nightfall.
The town of Agadir quite pretty and you can enjoy strolling on its tree-lined boulevards, lush parks and gardens. But there is much more to Agadir. there are the trademark souks steeped in spice, open-air food stalls selling super-fresh fish, a secretive world of deserts, medinas and palm groves shadowed by the snow-capped Atlas Mountains.
Agadir is a favourite golf destination with two excellent golf facilities, each with 27-holes: Les Dunes and the Golf du Soleil. These two courses offer golfers some wonderful playing conditions. The year round pleasant weather made it a favourite winter golfing haunt for golfers from northern Europe. |
