Morocco is very rich with tourist spots to visit. Here are some listed out according to the specialities in each city.

Cities in Morocco

  • Agadir– This town is all about its beaches! It is a good example of modern Moroccan design, but doesn’t have much to do with history or culture. The local buses take you for a ride around the town for a few cents and villages to North. read more
  • Amizmiz – A popular destination amongst travelers on a look out for a one day trip. This place is attracts a lot of tourists every Tuesday to its Berber Souks (shopping markets), one of the largest of its kind, in the High Atlas Mountains. Amizmiz is easily accessible (approximately one hour) from Marrakech.
  • Asni – Put on your trekking boots for a thrilling trek into the High Atlas Mountains from this point.
  • Casablanca –Most of you start your trip to Morocco from this famous sea side city as majority of the international flights land here. Casablanca has a lot to offer to its visitors from medieval history to modern day entertainment … the city has it all.  If you are a history buffs keep an afternoon free and visit, both the historical medina as well as the contemporary mosque (the second largest in the world).Then take a drive through Rich Earea of Casablanca and get  a glimpse of  the estates, villas and palaces passing via the king's palace:

  • Chefchaouen - A mountain town inland from Tangier full of white winding alleys with blue house doors, olive trees, Chefchaouen makes a picturesque postcard destination.
  • Essaouira –This ancient sea-side town was actually (re)discovered by tourists. The beaches are packed from mid June to August with great people and some good music and are the nearest Coast from Marrakech.
  • Fez - One of the Oldest and Largest Medieval Cities in the world, Fez was the former capital of Morocco and is famous for the hats of the same name. Fez is also compared to the walled city of Jerusalem for its ancient walled city.

  • Marrakech – This city is a perfect blend of old and new Morocco. Our advice is that you plan to spend at least a couple of days drifting through the huge maze of souqs and ruins in the medina .Also don’t miss the great plaza of Djeema El Fna at dusk. read more
  • Meknes – Tired of the tourist crush at Fez? Take a break in this modern, but laid back city. This Imperial city of Meknes with its beautiful city gates and an impressive engineering of the Dar El-Ma granaries is like revisiting history in modern times. Take a tour to the 2,000 year old expansive Roman Ruins of Volubilis with its well preserved mosaics.

  • Ouarzazate - Ouarzazate is considered as the capital of the South. The city is a great example of preservation and tourism that hasn't ruined the feel of an incredible and ancient city.
  • Rabat - The capital of Morocco; tourist highlights include a 12th-century tower and minaret.
  • Rissani - A small oasis town near the northwest edge of the Sahara.
  • Tangier – This will be the starting point for those of you arriving by ferry from Spain. This city has some enigmatic charm which has attracted numerous historically famous artists like musicians (Hendrix), politicians (Churchill), and others (Malcolm Forbes).
  • Tetouan –It is the Capital of Northern Morocco and some has very beautiful beaches. It is also the gateway to the Rif Mountains.

Some other Destinations

  • Merzouge – Take a camel ride into the desert for a night among the dunes, under the stars, from this small settlement at the edge of the Sahara desert.

  • Taroudannt –Visit this market town, if you are looking out for some ethnic jewellery, clothes with an Arabic influence.
